Travel Information

The Mass of Ordination (Saturday) and first Mass of Thanksgiving (Sunday) will both be held at St. Peter Chanel Church, located at 12001 E. 214th Street, Hawaiian Gardens, CA 90716. There is ample parking (two entrances, either on 214th St. or Elaine Ave.), but we do expect large crowds, so when you can, try to carpool and arrive early.

The closest hotel is La Quinta Long Beach/Cypress. Contact Deacon Paul right away (pnguyen@omvusa.org) if you are interested in a room there for a group rate, so that we can make it happen for you!

It is also possible to rent a home nearby, using services like HomeAway.

The closest airport is Long Beach (LGB), just a few miles on city streets from the church.

Los Angeles (LAX) and Santa Ana's John Wayne Airport (SNA) are about the same distance, taking 30-40 minutes to get to the church by car.
